CTSO
We are excited to share more about Career and Technical Student Organizations or CTSOs, and the valuable opportunities they provide for our students. CTSOs are student-led groups that are closely connected to Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, giving students hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the classroom. Through CTSOs, students build leadership, teamwork, communication, and career-ready skills while exploring interests related to their future goals.
Our students have the opportunity to participate in well-known CTSO competitions and organizations such as DECA, Educators Rising (EdRising), FCCLA, FFA, and SkillsUSA. These organizations allow students to compete, collaborate, and apply real-world skills in areas like business, education, family and consumer sciences, agriculture, and skilled trades. Our main focus is preparing students for college, careers, and life by offering competitions, conferences, community service, and leadership development.
Participation in CTSOs helps students gain confidence, discover career pathways, and make meaningful connections—all while having fun and being engaged. We are proud to offer these opportunities and encourage families to support students as they grow, lead, and succeed through CTSO involvement.
